Matt Ventura - President and Founder

Matt Ventura founded Ventura Tech in early 2001. After being raised on the small island of Kauai, Hawaii, Matt moved to San Francisco in 1993 to attend the University of San Francisco, where he received a BA in Electronic Communications. He went on to work for several startups thru the rise and fall of the "dot com" era. After several years of Technical Support, System and Network Administration, and a general interest in technology and computers, he discovered the need for real quality service that every business needs to function in today’s work environment. Since then, he has built a strong list of clients that range from design firms to non-profit organizations to home users alike. Matt takes pride in delivering service based on dedication, honesty, good communication and commitment to each and every one of Ventura Tech's customers. Ventura Tech believes that is the backbone of any good business.

Spencer Flowers - VP Business Development

Spencer joined Ventura Tech with over 10 years experience in IT management and business development. Graduating from the University of San Francisco with a degree in Psychology, Spencer immediately found himself applying his skills to the IT industry during the “dot com” boom managing Help Desks, Technical Support groups and Network Operations Centers, always with a strong emphasis on Customer Support. During his career Spencer migrated from department and staff management to Project Management and Process Development. He has led major IT initiatives such as merging Customer Support departments for Microsoft and overseeing the IT infrastructure migration for several subsidiary acquisitions by Freddie Mac. Spencer has also helped to develop and implement IT best practices to be compliant with SAS 70 and Sarbanes Oxley standards for several small businesses. Simply put, Spencer has a unique ability to adapt to various environments and personalities to bring teams together and get things done! With a well established background understanding customer needs and end to end IT best practices, Ventura Tech believes Spencer is a great fit to help grow the organization, and ensure uncompromised services and support are delivered to Ventura Tech’s client base.
